Early Voting Information:

In 2022 Michigan voted on and passed proposal 22-2 which gives voters the right to vote in-person at an early voting site prior to election day.

Early voting is open nine (9) consecutive days beginning on the second Saturday before the election and ending on the Sunday before the election. Early voting is from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. except on Thursday when the hours are noon to 8:00 p.m.

Oakland County has partnered Milford and Lyon Township for early voting regional site #7. There will be two sites that Milford residents can early vote at:

Early Voting Close of Polls Tabulation will take place at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27th:

Absentee Ballot information
Absentee ballots are available approximately 5 weeks before the election. You can contact the clerk’s office (248) 685-8731 at any time to be put on the permanent absentee application list. This will ensure that you get an absentee application prior to every election.

Applications can be returned in a variety of ways:

  • Mail it to the Clerk's Office at 1100 Atlantic St, Milford, MI 48381
  • Fax it to us at 248.685.9236
  • Email [email protected]
  • Drop it in the drop box located to the right of the Township Office Front Doors 
  • Deliver it in person to the Clerk's Office

Polls are open on Election Day from 7 am to 8 pm
